Wedding Festivities Commence for Satrap Alphaeus Jona and Talia val’Borda of Plexus
The weeklong festivities surrounding the upcoming wedding of our venerated Satrap and the radiant Talia val’Borda have begun throughout the capital city of Metra. Dignitaries from across the League of Princes and the Coryani Empire have made their way to the “Jewel of Eppion” to pay their respects to the joyous couple as the city itself celebrates in revelry. By declaration of our most generous Satrap, gladiatorial competitions and games of sport will be held at the Circus Sipulus throughout the week. A schedule of events will be posted throughout the Arena District. The Games will commence soon after the parade finishes mustering in the Arena, where Eppion’s proud military will be on full display. All citizens are requested to line the streets and thoroughfares of Metra during tomorrow’s parade, as a sign of respect to the Satrap and his fiancée.
Citizens of Eppion are also free to mourn and pay homage to the Satrap’s deceased first wife, Kheshati Khuridan, whose tragic death stunned the Chauni populace and the Satrapy as a whole three years ago. Kheshati’s father, Hyssar of the Khuridan clan, has given his personal blessing to Satrap Alphaeus Jona on his upcoming nuptials.
Urmoch val’Baucisz Appointed as Imperial Archon of Eppion
In recognition of his services and duties on behalf of the Satrap’s court, Urmoch val’Baucisz has been bestowed the title of Imperial Archon of Eppion. The patriarch of the esteemed val’Baucisz family has accepted the honor of this appointment and his new responsibilities to the Satrapy have already begun. Besides acting as the will of the Satrap’s court in terms of law enforcement, Urmoch val’Baucisz will also serve as Eppion’s highest ranking military commander.
Our new Imperial Archon has already promised Satrap Alphaeus Jona a stronger military presence in Eppion if the Coryani Emperor deems that more troops are needed in the Empire’s civil war against the traitorous General Menesis val’Tensen.
Fifty Thousand Gold and Title to be Rewarded for the Blackthorn’s Capture
The masked heretic known only as “The Blackthorn” still remains at large despite widespread raids on recently-discovered cult safehouses. The Blackthorn and his band of fanatics have declared war on the Mother Church in the name of their blasphemous worship of elemental spirits.
As promised, the Satrapy will open its coffers, and a grant of title and land shall be made to anyone that can bring forth the true identity of the Blackthorn, dead or alive. Inquisitor-General Aeneas val’Assante of Legio Lex Talionis has assigned his nephew Sertorius and a cadre of Onaran Templars to confirm the Blackthorn’s true identity and root out this infestation of heretics.
