The Penitent of Saluwe
With a base of operations in the Mhyrcian Shadow Town of Mhun, the Penitent of Saluwe are mainly comprised of those val’Baucisz that have forsaken their family name and have sought a path for redemption for all their supposed atrocities they have committed over the centuries. This ‘redemption’ includes illicit activity such as freeing lawful slaves and inciting resistance within val’Baucisz territory. There is reason to believe that the Penitent of Saluwe has recruited agents outside of their family/monastery structure and are operating within Metra. We also believe that this Penitent of Saluwe could very well be harboring Mikhel val’Baucisz or even smuggled him out of Metra. Regardless, their actions are not to be tolerated and subversive activities be put to an end.
The Order of the Twilight Bough
Under the leadership of “The Blackthorn” in Metra, this group of terrorists still remains a scourge to all followers of the Mother Church and all lawful citizens within the League of Princes. If it is true that this Mikhel did indeed conspire with these heretics, then they are possibly privy to his whereabouts. My sources have found a possible bowery safehouse of theirs in the Undir District commonly referred to as “Old Town”; too obvious a location for the “Blackthorn” to operate out of but not necessarily others that could have had dealings with Mikhel. Regardless, they deserve no quarter.
The Seven Blades Academy
My issue is not necessarily with the entirety of this prep school / fighting academy (which specializes in the Hand, Blade, and Mind fighting style), but with a few particular students, which can possibly reveal more. It seems as if a small number of these students have had dealings with the would-be Order of the Twilight Bough assassin known as “The Candle Snuff”. If there are dissidents within this fighting academy, it is best to interrogate these miscreants now before they poison the reputation of their Head Mistress, Sybil Pyli-Sungha. For all we know, she can be protecting her students like a mother lion so this will be handled without her knowledge. We have obtained the living quarters for the supposed ‘ring leader’ of these students.
